File Operations Toolbar

The File Operations toolbar (see Figure A) contains buttons for performing various operations on schemas, instance documents, or directories, in a batch or individually. This toolbar is located below the Project Management toolbar and above XML Console's main window.

The following functions are available:

• Validate - validates one or more schemas, instance documents, and/or directories in a project
• Convert - converts one or more schemas in a project to another dialect
• Report - generates a report on the validated files in a project
• SchemaDOC - provides in-depth documentation for one or more schemas and/or directories in a project
• Edit - opens the selected schema or instance document to be edited
• Refresh - validates all files in a project as a batch
